Preparing AirPods for a New Owner: Unpair and More

Unpair AirPods from Your Apple ID

Before you sell or give away your AirPods, unpair them from your Apple ID. This allows the new owner to link them to their own Apple ID and use all available features. Unpairing can be done via iPhone, iPad, or Mac. You only need to unpair from one device.

Quick Steps for iPhone/iPad:

1. Open "Find My" app.

2. Go to"Devices" and tap on your AirPods.
